I've been keeping track of all the serial numbers I can get for some years now, got about 600 super H's listed so far. Closest I have on the list is 22541 J. I've copied down your phone number and will definitely call you if I run across your grandfathers tractor. Best of luck finding it. Pat in Wis

I just bought one, original owner was in WI. You can add it to yout list; It's now in SD

#29093J Last week of production. One 8-30-Z date code casting. It has the wide front, fenders, PTO shield, correct lights, original IH muffler, M&H two way hydraulics on the light bar. Grill near perfect, hood excellent. Rear weights. Paid 3000 and feel I got the best end of the deal. Had an offer from an onlooker in Owatanna MN gas station for 4000. I don't know, it just looks like the market for the Stage II SH's is VERY STRONG. Needs a rim and tires.Runs very well. Owner put the original gas cap on the radiator, and the new replacement one on the gas tank. So it ran a little warm with the unpressurized cap. Pulled the pan today and there was only a 1/4 inch of sludge in there.

Gordo No, it wasn't cheap.

I bought a Super H a year and a half ago at the "Steam engine show" in Boonville Mo. It came from Vandalia Mo. area. Not at home to check the #. but I will. There is a guy on this site that sorta makes a hobby out of tracking H's, he is always asking for Serial #'s. Maybe he will pick up on your post.
