I have posted a picture of my tractor on the gallery. There is still a lot of work to be done on it . Can anyone tell me about the two holes on the side of the hood and how were they covered. I would also like to know about Decals for this tractor they are all gone.

Roger, I don't know what the holes are for. I think someone has cut those for some reason. My Cub does not have them nor have I seen any others with them. Decals can be ordered here on yesterdays tractor site I believe, if not you can get them at TSC and other farm stores or any Case IH dealor. You may want to find a picture of one to reference with the placement of decals.

The Farmall Letter Series book by Guy Fay and Andy Kraushaar has an excellent decal placement chart. That book is worth the read also, it tells you everything you ever wanted to know about each individual letter series tractor.

Thanks can the book be found at book stores or do I have to order it? If someone cut them they did an excellent job the one on the rear has a little nipple at the top of it.

I'm not sure but any book store should be able to order it if they don't have it. You might want to check on-line. You could probably get it quicker that way.
