Hello: In another post I asked about the Farmall 350 hydraulic system because I am going to check out another tractor. I may have to add IHC hyd fluid before starting it. After starting it I want to test the hydraulic system by using the Fasthitch system, with the standard flat drawbar inserted, to raise the rear of the tractor. So my question is how well do other fasthitchs raise the rear of your tractor. The big question is: How fast do you have to run your engine to get it to lift both rear wheels off the ground? My prime interest is the 350 models but I would think most all of the 300-350-400-450 would be similar. Having fluid filled rear tires and wheel weights would also add to the amount of pressure needed. (rowcrop models) No, I'll not have access to a pressure tester. Using the hitch will also test the hitch itself and give a reasonable idea how well his hyd system works.
( Yes I'll Use Standard safety precautions before testing) Thanks Agpilot

My 560 Diesel with loaded 15 x 38 tires also lifts the rear off the ground at little more than an idle. The 706 tractors didn't have that feature.

Hello,

300u (loaded tires), 300rc(one set of weights), 350du(one set of weights), 350rc(3 sets of weights) all with fast hitch. They will all lift the tractor at a little above idle or not much more. But I had to replace the pumps on the utilities. They were weak and would hardly lift them up. But they are good now.

THANKS-- To all 300-350-400 FastHitch owners in reply to perrycountyfarmalls, 04-22-2007 05:57:48
Just got back from church and was happy to see all of your replies...Thanks guys.. The owner of this 350rc is a cranky 73 year old cuss that I'll have to talk nice to so knowing just how well all of your tractors lift at or near idle is most helpful. His engine is covered with hyd fluid seapage on the right side.(but partly due to no cleaning too) I'd like to end up buying a very good 350rc+FH from a mechanical standpoint since I intend to have it do some work. I don't care about paint. ...and I don't mind owning more then one untill end up with a good strong one. Again, THANKS guys. Agpilot

My 350 Diesel lifts the rear end off the ground no problem at a little more than an idle. The fast hitch would move as soon as i hit the hyds, no waiting. There is a set of wheel weights on it.

my tractor will easil raise the entire rear of the tractor with the engine at little more then idle. First time I did it was scar, haha

BTW, m tires have fluid in them. With the engine at a slower speed, it will raise it slower and the engine laboars, at fast idle, its faster and the engine labors less.
