Guys,

I could check with trial by fire, but which direction are the rods installed on the crank? bolts toward or away from cam?

On each rod and cap is a number 1 thru 4 intsall with numbered side towards the cam. Torque to 60 lbs.

Thanks for the help, guys. I am not real good with the numbers. This is actually a 4.25 bore pulling engine so it is around 298cid.

Hehe...that would be a bit tough to get rolling I suppose. I would definately get to test out the new 2 disc slipper.
