My friend in SD called me and said his 300 quit moving He has a loader on it and loading manure it quit moving. It has TA. My question is can it be an adjustment or does it sound like engine clutch is shot or maybe TA slippinf on both sides He is in a bind. Would appreciate any input Thanks Bill

It would help to have a few details. It could be clutch, boken shaft, striped gear or who knows. Did it make any noise. Did the clutch slip prior to this. It is hard to diagnose with so little info. TA dosen't slip on both sides. It only pulls in TA low. In high it is direct drive and pulls only off main cutch. Try to get a few symptoms.

He said it was working fine and then he dropped the bucket to load and acted like in neutral won't move at all in higher gears but will move foward in 1&2 but drop bucket it stops will not push into pile.I think you already answered my question. If the TA don't slip in high I guess its got to be main clutch right. Thanks for your help I will call him with bad news. Bill

It does sound now like that is a good bet. It is not as bad as you think. The whole cluth kit is probably less than 250.00 and they aren't to much trouble to put in.
