Whats a pair of basket case H"s worth? 90145 and 85745 are the serial numbers. I have em both, but thinking of cleaning out the back yard. engines missing, sheet metal is there on one, rims are good, one radiator, one is missing the tranny gears, but the other has a good tranny. are they worth 500 for the pair?

No, $500 is too high. Going by your description, I'd say $200.

You are probaly right. Old tractor folks are always harping on not scrapping out these old tractors but put a value on them less than scrap price.

Scrap metal is bringing about $200 ton so if the pair weigh about 5000 lbs. they should scrap out for about $500.

It would if you could get $500 worth of useable parts off them.Without seeing them its hard to know.

I agree. It's hard to determine the real value of a parts tractor without being able to examine it.

You can try and sell them on e-bay.

If you have time, you can part them out. If you can part them out and sell the parts on e-bay, you will probably maximize your profit AND your time expenditure!
