I replaced the points and condensor in the mag last week, put it back on the tractor yesterday, and she had spark. No battery, so I hand cranked it, and away she went. After the smoke cleared, and she warmed up, she just purred. No smoke, no miss. We went back over today to see if we could get her home. Pumped up the tires, and one was very bad, so I was afraid to drive it. The guys friend loaded her up and took drove it home for me. The sellers grandson, about 16, was there, and told us how he would play on it when he was real little, so I asked him if he would like to drive it, and of course he was eccstatic. Then one of the neighbors dropped by with a John Deere H, and let the kid drive it also. I think he got the fever. It won't stop now.

I have a 53 SuperC and crank it about 1/2 the time. My neighbor with the big tractors just shakes his head when he sees it go on the first crank. Where are you in Idaho? My wife is from up there.

I used to live up by Coeur d'Alene, then move south of the lake in St. Maries. Now I live in Austin, Texas, just never wanted to change my handle.
