I have a 1948 W-6 with a 8060 DB head and a 1952 Super M with a 8060 DC head. I thought there was a differance. I didn"t think they ran the same gas heads on the M and Super M. Just what is supposed to be the differance between the two anyway? Thanks,
Charles

i have in my hand general sales bulletin no. 5 dated february 22, 1952. it shows all of the 'improvements' that the new super m has over the straight m's. it says that the combustion chambers in the new cylinder head are modified to give better distribution of the fuel=air charge. i hope this answers your question. it's still a 8060 head but with this revision.
