NI 30A Sickle Bar Mower - back heavy?

Hooked up a New Idea Sickle Bar Mower (30A - pull type on wheels that I got last week) to my 140. All the weight hanging behind the axle pushes the tongue up and and raises the tool bar. The 140 rear hydraulics lift, but don't push down. Consequently the rear housing and drags the ground making it impossible to move, much less mow. I can either rig a bracket to add a bushhog type of wheel to the back of the mower, or add some kind of weight (I'm guessing 100 lbs or more) to the pull bar or tongue.

Are there other options?
Anyone know when these Sickle mowers were made?
It has several oil/grease leaks. Are gaskets, seals, etc. available for these?

Thanks.

There should be a moveable collar on the lift rod that you slide back and tighten to give you down pressure.

Seals are standardized in 99.9999% of applications. If you can't find OEM seals at a New Holland dealer, you should be able to cross-reference them. Gaskets are easy to make.

I thought that the 2pts that didn't have down pressure had a spot to put in a pin to hold the drawbar rigid. The spot was right above the cylinder.

Our 300 utility had this option.
