Getting ready to paint the M. Using 2150 over Case IH primer. What to use activator and a little hardner. Have a fresh air supply. Where can I get a good activator and hardner That is compatible to use with the 2150? Also the proportions. Thanks

I USED PPG DELSTAR ACRYLIC ENAMEL. WORKED GREAT BUT THE PRICE SURPRISED ME. $78 PER QTR. PLUS REDUCER AND HARDNER. I MIXED IT THE WAY THEY TOLD ME WHICH IS 8 OZ. PAINT TO 6 OZ. REDUCER PLUS 1 OZ. HARDNER. SEEMED TO WORK GREAT. ONLY NEEDED 2 QTRS.(WHICH ENDED UP TO BE NEARLY A GALLON). I REALLY LIKE THE COLOR BUT SOME PEOPLE DON'T. LOOKS A LITTLE ORANGE INDOORS BUT RED WHEN OUTSIDE. IT'S DEFINITELY THE COLOR I WAS LOOKING FOR.

Activator and hardener are the same thing, you probably mean reducer and hardener. Case-IH has both, some dealers don't. The ratio of paint:reducer:hardener is about 4:1:1, but you might have to experiment a little. If your dealer does not have the hardener, acrylic enamel hardener might work. 2150 is an acrylic modified alkyd enamel, that is the old alkyd or synthetic enamel with some acrylic properties, notably UV inhibitors to reduce fading. I have not used it, my numbers are based on what I have read, and my use of acrylic enamel and acrylic urethane. Your results may differ.
