I've got the same problem on my 1086. The I & T Shop manual identifies for the PCF systems possibilities: Drop poppet misadjusted, Linkage misadjusted, Drop poppet pilot unseating/rod broken, Drop rate screw turned in too far, Actuating rod or pin binding, Draft control valve spool binding in open sosition or spring damaged. I don't know if I have an Open Center System or the PFC. It does have a TA. The shift leaver is frozen in place. I'm told it's best to leave it alone.

You have got good info from all replys one thing I have seen is the draft sensing arm comming up from the torsion tube will be clamped just a hair too much to the left and the valve control arm comming down from the top will pop past on the right. Looking in from the 3rd link bracket cover you should see if this is the case. By reaching in and moving the top arm against the spring the valve will open and arms will drop. Be sure not to have any implements on it or you could br crushed.

That sounds like the linkage is backwards down at the sensing arm. Did you get that all put back together correctly?

Did you get everything timed and indexed as it should be at the rockshaft?

i dont have any weight on it when i first cranked it after putting the seals in the lift went about half way up then stopped they will still go up more but when i try to put them down they keep stopping at the same place about a week ago they wouldnt go back down even with a set of planters and subsoilers attached then i kinda rocked the tractor and they dropped i was kinda thinking maybe a valve could be stuck

check your draft control first then look for a control to adjust the speed it raises, both will cause this problem.

Did you put any weight on it?

When mine was new you had to jump on it to get it down.

The friction in the new seals could be holding it a little.

Haveing to put weight on it seems odd to me bet then again I am a deere guy. Its probably your draft lever, find it and where ever it is move it the other direction and you should be in good shape. Then you may want to jump on it to make it go down if you had to before.
