Anybody have any pictures of the front bolster for the diesel? I would like to see the difference between the gas and diesel version. Also, I was reading in the picture section, about a 340D, and it said there was only 500 made, is this true? I can't seem to find any serial nuber info about it. Thanks

Matt, I got copies of the production sheets from the archives and the best I can tell there were 642 International(Utility) and 596 Farmall 340 diesels built in the '61 - '63 years.

TDK, is there any chance I could get a copy of the production sheet you have for the 340 Diesels? I left my email open. Thanks. Pat

I have a 340D with a factory wide front. What do you need a picture of? I will try to get one for you in the morning. I have been trying to figure out how many diesels they made also and haven"t had much luck in finding anything in writing. I"ve been told that they made around 6000 or so 340"s and out of that about 200 were diesels. Like I said though, I"ve yet to see anything definitive. Maybe someone on here knows for sure.
