First, I want to thank all who submitted comments to my message to Allen. Second, the SMV-TA was a pile of junk on wheels and I was foolish to even consider restoring it. I did hate to get rid of my H but I can only keep one tractor(wife dictates). So I traded with reputable salvage dealer for the 300. He spent a lot of money on it before we traded. But some 300 parts a scarce here so that is why I am looking for a grill and left hood panel. I really do appreciate your responses. Thanks.

Norm if you are happy with your trade, then it was a good deal. Maybe you have a tractor you can use anyhow.

I would have done the same darn thing Norm. If it doesn't earn it's keep, haul that junk off.

I didn't respond, but had the same sentiment that the others did. Even as a pile of junk, the rarity of an SMV-TA makes it worth 5-6 good running 300's. The picture below is an SMV, not even TA, I found on Ebay. Selling for $23,000. I saw one on YT that was asking $25,000. Wardner mentione he saw one sell at auction for... I want to say $40,000. (That may have been an SMDV-TA)

My point is, that although you couldn't use it to farm, I think the value of it got away in the trade. I only hope that the salvage yard guy understands the rarity of that tractor and does not crush it.
