What is an SMVTA. Could it be a farmall high crop tractor. if so what is so special about it.would anybody have a picture.

That would be a Super M, high-clearance(V), with Torque-Amplifier. I'll bet there weren't many high-clearance models made, so the whole combo must be rare, indeed.

That would be a high crop. It would look like any other MV high crop. But the other fellow is right it is a very rare unit.

High clearance version of the Super MTA, successor to the MV/Super MV, only 64 made. Minimum restored price, $15000, have heard of them selling for $40000, diesel versions would be even more rare.

Wrong.

The tractor you speak of was sold by Aumann Auctioneers for $45,000. It was sold at the end of September 2006. I was there.
