For years, Dad and Grand-dad sold the IH "Battery Ignition Conversion Package" for these tractors. They used to keep one on a display box on the counter--marked $27.95 the last time I remembered looking, back in the '60's--and it contained the distributor and wiring, with a 2-post switch. The same distributor fit A, B. C, H and M.

So it's not as if you're looking for something rare.

I have a 90 degree distributor that I would let go, it has the adapter and the distributor sets upright not parallel to the engine like most of them, Email me if you are interested.
