I just took a look at the holes in the two pins and both were filled with dirt and rust. Dug them out with small screwdriver and it looks like a quarter inch hole on both and looks like both have threads. I think tomorrow on my day off I will construct a little slide hammer assy to try to pull the pins. If my hammer is a success, I will take a picture and post it.

On the leak on the fitting on the MCV, it is the fitting above the one I was looking at and the one you pointed out. I am going to try to wrench it a little in the morning. If it doesn't move, it looks hard to pull. Oring here or what?

Since CRS is setting in i forgot ot tell ya that on the pins that have the threads in them that are stuck i made up a puller out of a pipe nippel welded a heavy flat washer on one end and and used a 1/4 inch grade 8 bolt with threads the full lenght and a nut it will suck them pins out no matter how stuck you think they are.

The leak you are looking at is the seal on the TA pressure dump valve. Once you get the linkage off of the stem, just unscrew the nut and the valve assembly will slide out. There is an o-ring that seals the threaded side of the nut and a lip style seal pressed into ther other end of the nut where the stem slides through. Be sure to wash the area off before you start so you get dirt into the MCV assembly. I usually use brake cleaner for these small areas.

Michael,
Putting a heavy iron against the clevice to "buck" it will assist the removal, and prevent bending the connection and giving better shock loading. Good luck with it, JimN
