I just installed Wagner loader on my Farmall super C. Everything is hooked up except the add on tank. I know it needs to hook into the fill plug but can"t find anything that will fit. It is about the size of a 1/2" National Pipe Thread (about 3/4" ID)but is is finer thread. Anyone got any ideas where I could find a nipple to fit this so I can hook the pipe from the extra tank to it. Also, the tank is vented I thought about filling while the loader was on the ground to several inches from the top and then I should have enough fluid to keep from running the tank dry when the loader cylinders are all the way up. Is this right?

The fill plug is a 7/8" machine thread. Nothing readily available will fit the hole that anyone is aware of.

You need a custom machined piece. Either have the existing fill plug bored out and threaded for a 3/8" NPT, or have something made up.

For filling, you are correct. You want all of the cylinders completely retracted so that the maximum amount of oil is in the reservoir. This includes the touch control under the gas tank. It should be all the way down.
