I need a furl type fitting for a super A. The fitting I need is the connection between the carb. and the gas supply line. I have tried locally. No luck. Does any one know where this might be purchased.

I was told never to use copper for gas lines because they will get brittle and break.

Now what we have been doing on the Farmall Cub Board is buying 5/16 brake line at the auto store and cutting off the ends and using the slip on compressing ring while using the 1/2-20 thread that is on the brake line. You bend your gas line where you want it and screw on the new gas line it works good.

OEM Tractor Parts has them for $2, part #29899D. You can also get the whole new gas line for $19 with the end fittings already on there, part # 350623R11.

I have two extra because after I bought the end fittings I decided to go ahead and replace the whole gas line. If you were close I would give them to you.

If that's the old compression fitting and ferrule you can get them at Home Depot. It's either 1/4" or 5/16" I would think it should be 5/16". If you need to remove the old nut and ferrule be sure to use a tube cutter. Hal

The nut/ferrule SHOULD still be available through your local CNH dealer.

The old IH part # is 29 899D. Check if that number is still "good"; or they can probably cross it to a good number.
