I steam cleaned the pan and cleaned it up for my and it looked like somebody had been in there and there was a pistol fight cause there were so many holes. Check out this welding...pretty good for a bad painter and poor lawyer!!!

Why didn't you just put on a different oil pan? you can get a good cheap one here in YT somehere I bet.

wow, gas sure does shield better then coated rods, and alot easier to start, and alot less messy, and alot less crap after you're done. I just cant justify the price of one and the cylinder/gas for as much welding as I do.

Looks good to me. I have GOT to get a welder. I've only ever done stick welding though.

Looks like you passed on the opportunity to purchase a new Miller TIG welder. You certainly had the verifiable justification and precedence has been set.
