I have a chance to get a 3x16" 2 pt plow for my 300. Will the 300 be able to take the plow or should I look for a 2 x 16"? thanks guys!

You can turn it into a 2X16 by dropping one gang off it. I have a 3X16 I pull with my 350, but I use it very little. Its all it can handle (and then some) in 1st with the TA back when you plow like you mean it.

Not sre of the 300, bt we had a 350 and a 3-16 fast hitch plow. Or grond was everything from sand to clay & lime rock, and the only time we had any troble was one spring when it was real dry. Like was said, yo can drop one bottom and se it as 2 bottom .

I should have mentioned that you can take off one plow if you can't pull all three, so if it is price is right why not.

I don't know about your ground, but here the 300 is a little light for 3x16s. Unless you have a lot to plow, I think that the two bottom plow will be the best choice.
