Greetings!

I have a low-hour 986 that has been in storage for quite some time, but was put back to work last year. I've noticed that the guages act erratically from time to time. I'm guessing this might be a ground problem, but was wondering if anyone here might be able to provide some insight. Is there any way to isolate where the problem might be?

Thanks!

Grounds for the gauges is under cab floorplate and is mounted on right hand side of trans with 3 to 4 wires under 1 bolt. You may have a weak connection on fuse holder or the plug in on back of gauges may be loose. Remove black cowling around entire dash in front of steering wheel the one with about 10 screws to get a good look at gauge connection.

My neighbor is having the same problems. Every time he opens and closes the door, the bale command monitor just absolutely goes nuts.

That ground cable is down under the right side entry-way. I'd sure check it for a good clean tight connection.
