How do I wire a international 1456 battery connection. I have two 12 volt batteries on this machine. thanks!

If you are going to use two 12v batteries instead of two 6v, the best way to connect them is to run a ground cable from each negative post to the frame and then use two positive cables and run them both to the solenoid terminal.

It should have 2 long 6v batteries on each side of the tractor. The (+) on battery #1 to the starter and the (-) on battery #2 should be grounded to the frame.

The (-) on battery #1 shuld be connected to the (+ ) on battery #2.

If I we're you I'd convert to one big 12v battery.

It will actually start better and be more reliable over the long term.

Your brilliant!!! Put two 12 v. batteries in it and toatally blow up the electrical system and starter.... WOW!! you need two 6V!!!

Well it should be TWO 6 volts , but any way pos to pos and neg to neg. NOW.
