I need a little help from the Knowledgable crew that hangs out here. I beleive the rear seal on the back of my bolster that allows the steering shaft into the bolster gear box is leaking. Is this a replaceable seal and where can I get a new one if so. I have spent a while in TISCO's website and A/I as well and I cant seem to find one ??

I took the pipe plug out and cleaned the threads and added rector seal to them and refastened and I dont knmow if the oil is coming from the back or the front. Has anyone came acrtoss the same leak , and where did you find it was leaking from ??

Thanks in advance for some feedback !

Your local CNH dealer can get one for you. You could also go to the CNH online parts book to get the part number and take it to your local NAPA or other auto parts store and they will cross it to a CR or National seal. Click on "Search Case IH parts online" in the link below.

If you can get the number off the seal there is a good start or some seal houses can fit a seal if you give them the ID and OD measurements you need. Last but not least pack the top bolster gear with grease.
