local dealer was no help last year. they said "NLA"
i need the gaskets on the top of the hydraulic reservoir on a 400 farmall. someone at a dealer please contact me. thanks :) new pump is cavitating/growling. gaskets should solve it. or at least stop the oil leaks :)

you can easily make a gasket from gasket material, not very difficult. If your pump is growling, check the filter, i dont know where it is on a 400, but it is the most likely cause of the pump growling, either that or air getting into the suction like from a bad oring, or a crack in the pump housing/hoses

pump is new, "filter"(screen) is new. the reservoir cover gaskets and possibly an o ring at that mount point are the last defect in the system. the return and suction lines both are on that top assembly the gaskets seal, along with the valve bodies. definitely a high pressure leak there, so likely a suction leak too.

there are 4 bolts on the right side of the reservoir at the bottom--this is the filter and it is probably pluged up tight. I'll try and put a pic up ..
