Have gone through the oil pump on my H, machined the cover slick again...and rebuilt.

The oil pickup came out of the cleaner. The pickup has assorted pin holes in it (after the dirt is removed) and there qare 3 or 4 holes the size of pencil lead. Are these pickups available new? I don't have a dealership close to check. I think I would rather have a good one than try to fix this one.

Tom,
Silver Solder the holes shut using no lead solder for plumbing. Easy to work, permanent. Just clean the surface with sandpaper, use lead free paste, and do it. JimN

Check out eBay or place a wanted ad on this site... If you can wait a few weeks I'll be home and can see if I still have an extra that I'll let go pretty cheap. Email if interested.
