Does anyone have any sprockets for a farmall C for a front mounted planter? Please let me know if you have some that you want to get rid of.

Sincerely,

Bill Raley

I have an extra set that fits a Super C on the ends of the break shaft. I do not have the disengagement shaft that goes to the front rocker arms. If you need a set, shoot me an email. Larry

The sprockets for the C and Super C are totally different. The C has a pin/bolt that goes through the shaft while the Super C has a bolt that screws in from the end of the shaft.

I have several NOS spockets. I don't know what the fit. If you have part numbers, I could check and see if there is a match.

I have the parts manual for the C implements at home. I will try to remember to check the numbers tonight. I have a mounted planter for a Super C but the sprockets are different between the C and Super C. My planter has the checking mechanism and that is the part that drives off the brake shaft. The planter is driven by packer wheels. I might be interested in one. I will let you know. Randy

The picture of the C-271 and C-272 planters show the sprockets that fit on the end of the brake shafts. I do not see the part numbers in any of the exploded views. On the check row planters C-220, C-221, and C-222 planters it looks like the drive sprocket on the brake shaft is 620 525R1 which is a 7 tooth sprocket.
