Found a original IH dealer sign. Its about 4 foot by 4 foot 12 inchs deep. double sided porcelain. Has IH with international harvester under it. The IH has neon tubes outlining it. Porcelain looks pretty good. The neon tubes on one side are broken. Idont know if it works. Have been wanting to stop and offer the guy something for it but dont want to pay to much or make the guy mad if he knows what its worth. What is an average value of a sign like this.

Where did you find it? If it's at an antique store, see what they want for it. If not, then try to think of its intrinsic worth. Meaning, as a broken sign, what do you think it should be worth. $50? $100? Offer that, playing "dumb" as to what it is, saying you like old signs or what not. Then you can fix it up, sell it on Ebay for $3000, and send me half so I can fix up my H.

That's a good solution that makes everyone happy!

The last one I heard about selling, the guy got $2,500.00 for a working one.

Steve I don't know what they are worth, but I expect Rusty Farmall is in the ball park. The local IH dealor here went out of business years ago, he also owns a fence a culvert company here in town and he moved all his left over parts and other IH stuff up there and has slowly been selling it off a little at a time. He had one of these signs and I ask about it thought it would look great on my barn. He ask 5000 dollars for it. Needless to say it is not on my barn. I ask about a year ago about it and he said he sold it, he didn't say what he got for it.

Could easily be in the 4 digit range.
