I am currently putting in a new clutch in my 460 and have found small hairline cracks behind the clutch plate.I had planned on having the flywheel turned anyway but does anyone know if by turning, will it take these cracks out or should I start looking for another flywheel.I do appreciate any help.

I agree with Rusty. I just replaced the clutch in my 460, and did not consider the cracks severe enough to even have the flywheel reground. I did have the one on my Super H ground, as the cracks were pretty severe.

I've seen very few flywheels that DIDN'T have small hairline cracks. Resurfacing will get rid of some them. Don't worry about the rest.
