In the past 5 months I have gone to two auctions here in SD to buy subject tractor. Both were one owner very nice running, straight, one with original IH muffler, one with new rubber.. Stopped at 2700 and 2900 on the two and they sold for 100 more. This weekend there is another one coming up. So I guess I raise my max bid to 3200? Hell I could buy a new JD lawnmower for just a little more than that! Saw a little Ford 861D that was really sharp.
What's the story on those? Lots of power,(55hp) 3 point, 5 spd, live hydraulics and pto, PS. How can you not like that little outfit? Local IH dealer has SHARP 656 wf gasser, 6500 hrs. Great tractor for mowing/raking/baling. Anyone want the phone number?

My '54 stage 2 Super "H" serial # is 25123. If you go to the "parts" ads, and on the first page, click on my ad for a Schwartz Wide Front End, you can see it in the backround. Good Luck with the numbers Pat!!

Would really appreciate knowing the serial numbers of any super H's you come across in your quest to buy one. Eventually if you keep looking you'll fall in love with one and bring it home no matter what the cost is - still trying to explain that phenomenon to my wife, she's a little skeptical though - suggested a drug or alchohol assessment. Bought a stage I serial # 5271 J this past fall. Tractor was purchased from the original family who bought it new from AJ Wozniak, Posen MI. Tractor has not been restored just a working super H.

Good Luck,
Matthew

Pat, are you interested in just the Supers, or all H's?

I've been keeping track of just the super's. Got about 570 listed so far. Still looking for the elusive consecutive serial to any of mine. Pat in Wis
