I have an 1466 that is in fairly decent shape, runs well and visually looks good. I am getting ready to sell most of my equiptment and I was wondering if anyone knew how much this tractor is worth? I also have a 706 that is gas with a narrow front end. If anyone could lend help in finding how much these tractors are worth I would be very gratefull.

I spent all winter looking at different 706 gassers because i wanted the tractor size and twin ptos for not much$$$. It seems to me that one in great shape and mechanically fit is worth 3-3500. After looking in Pa Md ohio and delaware, turned out i found a nice one with the 310 diesel wf fenders and new tires 15 minutes away from my house for 4000.

I am going to have to agree with Iowa Gary to a point and disagree with Nat as a 706 gasser will scrap for more the 2000 grand unless it is in KIT FORM . Around here with out looken at the tractor i would have to say that if it runs 3000 and up and the 1466 is correct.

The 1466 anywhere between $6,000 and $11,000.

If you are the original owner you may be at the upper end if you know the tractor is OK.And if the hours are not to high.

Do you have any repair records that would help also?

The 706 would fall between $2000 and $5000 in my estimation.

Gary

706 gas is not very valuable, closer to the $2000 estimate than the $5000, unless it is in absolutely CHERRY condition. They're too heavy to haul, which kills their value as collector tractors, and they're really hard on gas, which kills their value as usable farm tractors.
