no one has replyed to my post eariler about the M&W and LP manafoilds so i was wondering did M&W even made a manfoild.. It looks like an LP but where the intake part and the exuast part are supposted to be completey seprate it has about 3 small bars running from each intake and exuast manafoild.

m+w did not make manifolds for farmall m's. the manifold that you describe is a 450 gas manifold. to the other fellow on the dual throat carburetor setup. hiesler made that, not m+w.

I am sure MW made a manifold for M's. It was set up for dual carbs. Several years ago Gorden Rice had the carbs with a straight thru throtle shaft for dual application

Every 400 and 450 I've ever seen had the 3 rib manifold on them. Must be factory. I took one and ground the 3 ribs off, seems to work.

I think they had them on M's. They call it the three rib manifold. I can take it off your hands if you would like. Send me an email.

I think they did but not sure. The one you are describeing sounds like the manifold used on the 450 tractor or the 281 engine.
