Anyone have any info with a Farmall Cub utilizing an Arps Blackhawk Model BM half track kit. Any advice, pictures, or printed material would be welcome. Thanks

Thank you Jim. I will be contacting TM Tractor Parts on Monday. I would like to locate or build the front idler wheel assembly/linkage that we're missing. If anyone has close-up pictures of the idlers wheels or the actual parts, please feel free to contact me. Thank you again so much!

I haven't seen any other pictures of one, and don't know the current location of any. It isn't likely that Tom will know any more about it than what the brochure shows, but it won't hurt to ask. Good luck and let us know if you find anything else.

The Cub is an offset tractor. Don't see how it would work unless you wanted to settle for one half of a half-track. That, of course, would be a quarter-track.

The other problem is the drop housings. As someone who owns a H with Arps Half-Tracks, I have difficulty trying to imagine how the idler strut would attach.

A thrid consideration would be the delicate castings used all over the Cub. If someone were foolish enough to build a half-track for a Cub, he would be even more foolish to mount it and work it.

OK, now, take your best shot. Prove me wrong. Lets see some pictures.
