Seems I have some free time before spring. So what better to do than wrench on my old tractor.

What I am doing right now is fabricating a 3pt hitch for my draw bar 706. Nothing fancy, just some thing to be able to pick up another bale or use the brush hog with it.
I will post a few photos of the hitch when I get a worker made.

Problem is the hydralics. I have 2 remotes and both are used with the loader. I can use a set of rear remotes when I unhook the lines that goes to the front of the loader. That way I can still raise the loader and use the rear remotes. This worked fine wile baling. Just cant adjust the bucket or bale fork what ever I have on it.

Looking for a few ideas. Can extra remotes be added? or how about some kind of valve set up to turn on sections?

Kelly C, I did exactly that. I used 2 "selector valves" to switch between the front hydraulic dump and my 3 point hitch. It's not the prettiest thing, but does the job. I got the selector valves on clearance from TSC, reg $67, on clearance for $11. I had to get one sent in to my tsc, from another store in ohio. The upc # is 073591301009. They outta be able to lookem up and get some sent to the store frokm another one, at no cost. Its been over 6 months ago, so If they are still around, I dunno.

I dunno,

I think the easiest way is to just add an electric-over-hydraulic multiplier to one of the hydraulic remotes.

I had to add this one to my tractor to get a third function and it really works slick.

Other options would be adding an additional factory remote, using a PTO pump, reseviour and control to run your loader or installing the factory 3-point hitch setup.

That looks pretty slick Allen. Where do you get them and about how much?

They build 'em down here in Kearney, NE at the Fasse Co. Do a google and you'll find 'em.

'Spose after the dust all settled, I've got close to $500 in the thing counting all the O-ring fittings, quick-disconnects/couplers and hoses.

Surplus Center is probably the cheapest but I don"t think you get the switch. One would be easy to make though. We"ve used the Fasse valves since about 1990 and have had practically zero problems with them.

They ain't cheap.

You might be able to plumb in a less expensive spool valve if your 706 is old enough.

Take a look at the stack of valves under the seat. If there are two identical valve bodies and a cover plate, you can replace that cover plate with a "power beyond" cover plate and plumb in as many open center spool valves as you want.
