What do you want to know? 52702 is a C that was assembled in the first quarter of 1950, provided that is the original seat. Those tractors were likely white. Look for white paint in hidden places such as between the battery box and hyd reservoir, under side of hood etc. Single front is nothing special, it was an option. There were no factory propane C's so that is aftermarket. Look for casting codes on all major castings in the form of 1*8*T; Jan 8, 1950, the * looks like a screw head. Your casting codes will likely run from Oct, Nov, 1949 through perhaps March 1950. 1949 is coded S. Serial number of my C is 52824, probably built the day after yours. Your block # is probably 251069R1 instead of 068. See if the engine serial matches the serial on the seat. It should be no more than a few numbers off unless the engine or seat have been changed.

Where do you find the monthly breakdown on the serial numbers? I have a 1952 Super C s/n 150632, along with several M's, a B, and couple of F-20's.

They are continually adding things to the Wisc Historical site -- I do not know if that is one of them. As to my C, all I know is that the "accepted" serial range for the white C's produced in the first quarter of 1950 is 47010-54411. You can guess by dividing a years production by 12, but that assumes IH built the same number each month, not usually the case.
