On Saturday my Uncle comes up to me and says he found a 1924 Farmall Regular sitting in a guy's front lawn. He went and asked if it was for sale and the guy said no. That guy had bought it for $50 40 years ago drove it onto his front lawn and parked it there for forty years as a lawn ornament. It makes me mad to see someone treat any tractor like that and especially a collectors item.

It really doesn't make me mad it just makes me almost sad to see a peice of equipment just rusting away. I know that you cannot save them all but I am not going to let up on this one just yet.

It would upset me as well to see it rusting where it sits. In fact, this is what you should do. Go by around 2 am with a truck and trailer. Take it back to your shop, fully restore it to show quality, then sneak it back to the same spot.

At least you know it's preserved and in good running order, and that should make you happy!

Well, I know what you mean. But, best not to get mad. You can't save them all. I remember back in the early 60's, I wanted a '39 DeLuxe or '40 DeLuxe Ford sedan. I'd find one and ask the owner to sell it, and he'd nearly always say, "Nope, gonna' fix 'er up one day soon." I'd watch them rust into the ground over the next 5 or 10 years. Not one was ever fixed up. Not one! I finally had to get over it, or go NUTZ. Did both. mike

I have a 1935 F-20 that I will make you a heck of a deal on if you are looking for that style of tractor. The block is good and it is not stuck. Shaggy

You know what makes me mad? It"s when I own something and somebody else thinks I should sell it to them just because they want it. LOL!

why would it make you mad? disapointed maybe, the reality is that it wouldn't matter if it was an old tractor or venus d'milo if he owned it. its America, amd if he wants it, let it be. dave

Yep thats true but what is worse is seeing it on its way to be cut up for scrap. I've seen way too many of them sitting in the scrap pile and the place will not even let you buy it back from them so you can at least save parts from them
