Super MTA w/ TA Delete

Need your thought on this beast! I am aware the SMTA tractors w/o TA(and in this particular case, also w/o PTO) are still classified as a Super MTA with the proper decal being the circle one w/o the "wings", etc, etc, but what I am interested in knowing is the value of one of these tractors vs an "equipped" tractor. What are your thoughts on value?
As always, thanks for replying.

The TA is what makes it an MTA, an independent PTO can be considered a bonus. With both deleted, to me it is just a Super M, the only difference would be the extra length provided by the empty TA housing. But, the collector nuts don't think like normal people, so they might pay more. I wouldn't.

If it was worth more without the TA & IPTO, someone would be takeing them off of the tractor.

I would like to see a SMTA without the TA, but still having the independent PTO... Or a SMTA with the TA, but with a transmission-driven PTO.

As far as value, I would think they would be worth more than an "equipped" SMTA - at least it would be worth more to me. I guess we won't know until one shows up!

It is not a Super MTA, but I have a 450 diesel that has power steering, fasthitch, triple remotes,TA and a transmission driven PTO all factory.

Paul I don't know how lucky I am it needs lot of restore work done on it.It starts and runs fairly well, but it needs some sheet metal work, gauges, tires, rims, head gasket and lots of tinkering. I am in no hurry though it is not the only one around here that needs work.

Definately more rare than an "equipped" SMTA. Should have considerably more value, but in all reality, probably is not worth any more than a straight M. I hope I am wrong.

I think you're right Rusty.

On account of it's rarity a "TA delete" as a collector SMTA would probably command a higher price than a normally-equipped SMTA.

However as a working tractor it should be "worth" no more than a Super M - which is essentially what a TA/LPTO delete SMTA is.
