I keep running across IH parts and would like to know what they went on. Is there a manual or manuals that detail what piece of equipment a part came on? I have lots of parts catalogs, but hate the idea of spending an evening running through all of them looking for one part.

I have two of the "Where Used" books.

I just look up the part number and it tells me what machine they used that part on.

There's also master parts manuals for other implements- multilpe implements in one manual, that include illustrations. There's a ton of different ones out there. That bad part of that for implements is that you have to have a rough idea what it came off of.

What you are looking for is one of the 19-XP manuals. They list each tractor, engine, and power unit part number and then the part manuals that it was listed in. Then in the front of the catalog, there is a listing of the parts manuals and the tractors it coorespnded to. The manual series started with 19-XP, went up to 19-XPG. They go for about 60-75 bucks these days, hard to find dealer only item.

I purchased 10 19xp manuals at the Mansfield Ohio RPRU for $20/ea... Price depends on who has it for sale.... I got a reprint of the 19xpg revision 1 and Revision 2 from jere a few years ago.. Also be advised that there are a large number of items not listed in the XPs, as only parts that were listed in the parts manuals are listed there. Many other parts that were later options, rebuild/service kits, later part number revisions are not in the XP manuals.. Here is a pic of my set of 19XP manuals... I think there is another early XP Revision, but I am not 100% sure..

The parts cd is online at www.caseih. You cannot search for part numbers, though.

Pretty sure you can get the part CD's from your CaseIH dealer.
Not sure if it will allow you to search by a part number or not.
