Hey fellas! Whats up with getting the new fanbelt over the fan blades on my ud9 powered grader??? I cut the old one, measured, bought new one an inch longer and it won't quite make it on. I've done this job before on MD's and yes it was close but went ok.

You mean it won't fit over the fan, between the fan and the shroud, or do ya mean once it's almost on it's too short to fit on the pulleys?

Since you've done your MD, I assume you know how the fan pulley works(loosen set screw and unscrew the outer half of the pulley...being CAREFUL not to tap on it too hard cause they WILL crack).

If it's between the blades and the shroud, probably just one of those deals ya have to fight until you get it in "just the right spot" to work.
