just got this super a. was tole the motor cam out of power unit.
898r 347 an there is a L on the block.

there aint no number on that tab. was replacement blocks stamped. it got the dip stick on the side near filter like the 130 an 140.

Look under No1 sparkplug near the radiator for a flat spot. It may be coated with heavy paint and there should be an engine number there. Not sure
if the L is for a date code. Someone should know that post on here. Hal

In this case it means the part was cast at the Louisville factory.
