Guy, I have several of your books, thanks for all the info. I have a question about your "International Harvester Data Book". In there you mention several times about "modified" tractors. That is, you state such-and-such model was discontinued on whatever date and modified models were discontinued, say a month or two later. I never found what modifications you may be talking about. Did these vary, or were the modifications steps toward the next newer model, i.e. SMTA to the 400?

What I've just learned is that the modified tractors were produced for other manufacturers for basing their units from.
