Looking to update my 756 and eventually restore. The wire harnesses have deteriorated and am wondering if there is an aftermarket supplier or are they only OEM from Case-IH? Thanks.

IH still offers the harneses. Don't "build your own" as they are much more complex than a letter series tractors wiring is/are.

There are several multi spade connectors that you can't "build" yourself (you need to buy them).

Total cost to replace all of the wires on a 756 is about $400.

Fred, It's easy to redo your own! ( if it is'nt to be a show piece) any elec. specialty store will have what you need! the battery cable's need either 00/00 copper or 00/06 aluminum! I redid a 45 A and used nothing less than 10 ga. wire and alum. for the batt. trace it out and put it on paper and you are good to go!

You can contact this website: >Link

I made my own when I restored an A Farmall. That includes the battery cables too. Home Depot has a nice assortment of stranded wires and all colors. Hal

there probably are. The few sites I have heard of escape me. Be aware, they arent cheap and the one for my 300u was $165, so I bit the bullet and made my own. My only regret is not having the right colors, so I have color duplicates. Its no show tractor , not even restored, just for work, so I decided a homemade one would be fine.
