I would like your opinion about diffrent supplyers of engine OH kits for any IH diesel but especially for DT-407. What brand do you recomand? Is CASE/IH the only way to go if you want the best?
I´m looking forvard for your experience.

You can get Clevite kits from NAPA, I think Case/IH sell TISCO kits. You local auto machine shop has an outlet for kits too and they can furnish your bearings too. That crankshaft should be measured for wear and be at least polished by your local auto machine shop. Those bearings may need to be line-bored too. Hal

CIH does not manufacture engine rebuild parts for the most part. The contract and rebox parts from Clevite, Felpro, ect, and add 30 to 50% to the price. You would be money ahead and likelly have the same parts as CIH by buying from A&I, Tisco, Hy-capacity or any other engine parts supplier.

I can sell you OEM or various aftermarket kits.
Both will probably be Clevite parts.
An aftermarket inframe depending on what your tractor is runs about $1300.00.
