My 240 needs new rear tires. It has 12.4 X 24" on 10" wheels. Would I have any problems with 13.6 X 24" tires on these rims? It's used only seldom to scrape the looooog driveway and a little bush hogging. Would PSI be the same? Thanks. David.

Dave: I agree with CNKS and will add one other little kink. To me it sounds as though your driveway grading requires the most traction of the jobs you do with your tractor. On a hard road the 12.4 tires will actually give better traction than the 13.6. All you wold be doing is reducing the tire pps on ground.

The proper rim is 11-24. But, on that size tractor, I see no reason to go to a bigger tire. All you will do is gain ground speed and lose power. If you want more traction for snow, use more weight or chains. For bush hogging, there is zero advantage.
