I think it is Persian Orange. If not it should be.

The parts would have been red from the tractor factory. They may have had a different paint when supplied to IH by outside companies.

Guy Fay: Are you the gentleman that put together the book, "Farmall Letter Series Tractors", along with Andy Kraushaar? If so, my compliments to you on a wonderfully detailed and very colorful book. For the Farmall tractor lover it is a work of art and for the serious restorer it is a necessary and extremely helpful reference. If this is you, thanks for a wonderful book. Chuck

As far as I know, there's only three Guy Fays in the U.S. One's my uncle, his real name is Arnold, but he got too many Arnold the pig jokes (Green Acres, I believe) when he was growing up, so he goes by his middle name. Never met the other Guy. So I must be him.

Sooooo... are you the one that wrote the book and have written other Farmall books? If so, I'd like to have your email address as I have lots of other questions for you. Chuck

Guy has a web site, but the rest of us would probably
like to see you post your questions here.
Guy visits here frequently and if you post here,
we can all benefit from his answers. Some of us may have the same question you do.
