We have a Farmall A in our school shop, it was missing its distributer, we had a parts A with a good mag so we put it on the on that we were able to restore. the problem is neither tractor had much left in the way of wires, we got a harness from our local IH dealer, genterator side only. The tractor runs great but we can not find a wiring diagram anywhere Every manual I have has distributer diagrams and 2 + 2 is not equaling 4. IH has not been able to help. Any one out there that can help?

Thanks

The above is for an early 40's mag-equipped A. Hat's off to Farmer Bob for scanning and sharing!

That's one thing I love about those old Farmall's, the same wiring diagram can be used for darn near all of them! I used that one on my M before I got the manuals.
