I have located therr puwer units, A flat head Waukesha, and a Leroy and Ihc u-9. Were there any tractors that used the engines and are they worth the time and money to haul the in and part out? The U-9 and the leroy are most likely stuck, the Waukesha has the stack coverd up. Thanks for any help you can give. TR

Depending on the size, the Waukesha flat head could have been found in a few Oliver and IHC tractors - also in some Hubers, Bates crawlers, etc. The U-9 is the same motor as used in the IHC W-9 wheel tractor and T-9 crawlers. Don't know about LeRoi motors - I've seen them in old air compressors, graders, etc but don't ever recall seeing one powering a tractor.

Unless they're really beat up and missing parts, I'd submit the motors are worth salvaging and parting out.

I own a old LEROY 2 cylinder water cooled engine with side covers and a flat pulley and do not know any thing about them. Where could I get info. YEAR,HP,MAKES,MODELS,MISC. ETC.
My friend has a WAUKESHA 4 cylinder flat head water cooled engine, pull start with a mag. on a frame with a small water pump.
I am trying to get the same type of info. on it.

(Either any good for a garden tractor puller?)

If anyone could steer me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. !!!!
