My little loader has a new nasty habit of leaking a puddle of transmission fluid when she is shut down, probally drops about a pint or so, before I crawl under it, and remove the covers, anyone have an idea where I should start my search for the problem? Is this gonna be expensive? Fluid is black and nasty, can I flush and refill? and how?

I know you guys will have the answer, thanks, and love the board.

I HAVE A CASE 450 AND THE TRANS FLUID IS NOT BLACK. I SUSPECT IF THIS IS ACTUALLY WHERE IT IS COMING FROM IT WILL BE EXPENSIVE.THE ONE I HAVE HAD SEVERAL TRANS LEAKS FROM BRAKE ASSEMBLIES BEING LOOSE AT TRANS HOUSING AND SEALS LEAKING IN BRAKE HOUSINGS.THE TORQUE CONV. RETURN LINE WAS ALSO LEAKING. ALL OF THESE COULD BE SEEN UNDER THE SEAT OR BY REMOVING FLOORPLATE.
