Need help in getting information and/or location on the Bristol model 20 or 25 crawler/dozer in or near the USA. The info I have so far is that they were built in the UK until the fiftys and some were shipped to the US. I would appreciate any help you can offer in the location of or information on one of these crawlers. Thanks, DeWayne

The Bristol crawler was first made for agriculture purposes. I am restoring a Bristol 22, this was the first designed for contractors work, it has a buldozer brade, and had a Perkins 3cylinder desiel engine, it was shortly replaced by the 25. If you are interested in the Bristols there is a book " The History of the Bristol Tractor" 1932-1947 by Geoffrey Stannard. As you say it was manufactured in the UK

I am also restoring a Bristol crawler/dozer model 25 and have been trying to locate a copy of the book "The History of the Bristol Tractor". Does anyone know where I can get a copy. Is there any other information on the machines available, workshop manuals, photos etc. My 25 is nearly restored and I am interested in learning from anyone who owns a model 20 or 25. I would also like to trace their history, especially their use in Australia.

I'm on the West Coast of NZ's South Island.
Have just had a model 20 given to me, in working order. Would also like to hear from anyone with a 20 or 25.

My brother is restoring a Bristol (I am unsure of the model) and needs to refer to a manual. He would appreciate any info to locate one to purchase or refer to to complete restoration. He lives on the East Coast of the North Island NZ Could I have a contact phone no for you or a website where we might get the information. Appreciate any help you can give.

We're looking for some information/books on the Bristol 20, 22 or 25 (not sure which)? Can you help?

Recently bought a Bristol Crawler with loading shovel, perkins p3, unknown age or model. We know very little about it other than it is now complete. Managed to get it running and all 3 clutches work and drive. Needs a grille and desperately seeking any information about them.
