Case 310F Brakes

Friend purchased a 310 but the right brake appears to be worn down and the adjustment is all out.
Need to know the procedure to inspect and replace brake. Looks like the rear diff cover provides access.

Drain the fluid then take that rear cover off. Check the brake lining and the linkage that pulls on the brake band. Sometimes that linkage will break or it might need adjusted inside so that the lever doesn't come up against the top of the trans. case when you activate the brake. If you need to replace the brake band they can be changed by removing the pin on the lower end of the band and then rotating the band top end down and out of the trans. housing.
