I am going to look at a case 310 loader gas i belive. last time it was running the fan belt broke and he parked it.It has the bucket and some kind of forks that go on bucket also has a 3pt hitch with rippers on it.

Anything I should watch for as broke or hard to find part or big $$$$ repair? I know the uc is $$ and what to look for there. If he over heated how do the heads hold up?

Also he says to change fan belt thr front has to come off? must be a easyer way?
Thanks
Bruce L.

I have a 310 on which I replaced the fan belt. You do have to remove the hydraulic pump. The radiator has to be loosed and moved forward to allow the belt to pass between the radiator and the crankshaft pulley. I did not have to remove the radiator or any of the grill parts. If my memory serves me correctly I did have to remove the belly pan. My 310 has the 148 gas engine. I have owned the machine several years and have had no major problems.

I have a MMRTI with heavy duty lull loader, hardnose crankshaft pump and the works. It came with a velox fan belt 25 yearsn ago and still is on there which you can take apart at each link. I put them on other equipment and takes only a few minutes.
